Ricardo de los Ríos (1846–1929) was a Spanish artist known for his work as an engraver and illustrator. He specialized in etchings and was especially admired for his depictions of historical Spanish architecture, landscapes, and cultural scenes. His detailed and atmospheric works managed to capture the essence of Spain's artistic and historical heritage.
De los Ríos collaborated with numerous publications and books, providing detailed illustrations that often depicted Moorish and Gothic architecture, traditional Spanish interiors, and street scenes. His art not only documented Spain's rich history but also bridged the gap between fine art and commercial illustration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
