In the showcase, a superb and imposing vase with lid (jar) made by the prestigious Tuscan manufactory Batignani Ceramiche. Founded at the beginning of the 20th century, the Batignani workshop is renowned worldwide for the extremely high quality of its creations and for the masterful use of precious metals.

This specimen stands out for its generous size (about 58 cm in height) and its complex, refined decoration. The central body is adorned with stylized floral motifs and acanthus leaves in shades of cobalt blue and Siena earth orange, recalling the great tradition of Italian Renaissance maiolica.
All gold finishes and highlight details of the decorations are made with 24-carat pure gold, applied by brush and fired at high temperature to ensure their lasting shine.
