Art Nouveau glass carafe with a hammered finish and a silver-plated metal mount, circa 1900.
Punch on the handle
Beautiful antique Art Nouveau style carafe, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1890–1910).
The body is made of translucent hammered glass, topped with a mount in silver-colored metal, which is a base alloy coated with a thin layer of silver.
It is finely crafted with a vegetal decor, typical of the Art Nouveau vocabulary.
The spout features an elegant coil, and the handle is integrated into the mount.
A hallmark indicating silver-plated metal is visible on the mount (see photo).
• Technique: antique blown glass
Condition: good vintage condition, with wear and patina consistent with age (see photos).
Easily cleanable with products suitable for silverware.
