After studying art in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Eugen Zotow lived in exile in Berlin from 1921 to 1934. Until his emigration in 1953 to Argentina, he resided with his partner in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. During this time, this view of Lake Zurich was certainly also created.
