A beautiful pair of XL Willy Rizzo style skyscraper table lamps. The elegant polished brass armatures of the lamps are solid and heavy, and have patina and light scratches in line with their age. Both armatures have 2 sockets, each with a built in lightswitch, so the lights can be switched on and off individually. The position of the sockets of the first armature is rotated 90 degrees around its axis compared to the second armature. One of the armatures has an additional lightswitch on the cable. The high quality pagoda shaped linen covers are in a great condition. One of them has been completely restored, the other one has some small openings in the stitching as can be seen in the pictures, not very visible but there. Note that the inside layers of the covers slightly differ in color (because of the restoration), resulting in a different glow when the same lightbulbs are used for both lamps. This can be countered by adjusting the type of lightbulbs. The lightbulbs in the pictures, which create a similar glow for both the lamps, are included in the sale.
