Neisson XO Cuvée du 3ème Millénaire, a 70 cl bottle of Martinique rum at 45% ABV, presented in original packaging as the first edition.
Description from the seller
This 70cl bottle of NEISSON XO aged rum (45% ABV) in a decanter is the first edition.
It is the result of blending ten of the distillery's finest XO rum casks, aged for a minimum of six years,
then blended and finished for at least another six years.
The Neisson distillery was founded in Le Carbet by the Neisson brothers in 1932.
Jean, a chemical engineer by training, dedicated himself to improving distillation techniques, as evidenced by the presence at the distillery of a Savalle column still built in 1938 and modified by him.
Today, his descendants, Claudine and her son Grégory, run the estate.
In 2013, they began the gradual conversion of the estate to organic farming, accompanied by studies on sugarcane varieties, plots, and agricultural techniques.
Neisson can rightly be considered one of the most ambitious and innovative distilleries in Martinique.
Neisson rums are recognizable by their famous Zepol’’Karé bottles (with their square shoulders).
Neisson Cuvée 3ème Millénaire rum is a blend of the 10 best XO barrels from Neisson's 1999 vintage.
With a beautiful amber color, the nose is intense with empyreumatic notes, aromas of roasting, smoke, cigar box, spices, and vanilla. On the palate, the attack is ample and supple, with fruit and spice notes, and a sustained aromatic finish.
The finish is remarkable and long.
This aged XO rum is a true nectar from the renowned NEISSON distillery in Le Carbet, Martinique.
