This cutlery was made by Hénin & Cie, established from 1875 to 1901 at 77, rue des Archives, Paris, then at 33, rue des Archives, Paris (in 1889), recognizable by the rose button hallmark above, and a star below the initials H&Cie.

Napoleon III period decor with violin-shaped sleeves, where the sleeve ends feature a molded medallion with a pearl frieze and an acanthus leaf motif from which laurel branches emerge, all finely hand-chiseled.
