Grand vase design, Space Age, original from 1970, in a modernist style.
In cast aluminum, shaped and polished with five worked openings for inserting flowers, for example. Very beautiful aerodynamic and fuselage shape typical of the Space Age, ideal on a Scandinavian teak sideboard, for example.
The Space Age design movement, particularly developed during the 1960s, is a movement that is both ephemeral, futuristic, and utopian. The fascination with space exploration and nuclear imagery are the two main influences of this contrasting trend. A true ode to the future, it is characterized by its soft organic shapes and modular materials that aim to be both elegant and modern.
