René Burri (1933-2014) was a Swiss photographer who studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich from 1949 to 1953, where he worked under Hans Finsler. He made portraits of Che Guevara and Pablo Picasso as well as iconic pictures of São Paulo and Brasília.
