Rara lampada portatile vintage di epoca industriale, marca Mazda, storica azienda attiva nel settore dell’illuminazione tecnica e professionale nel XX secolo. Questo modello era destinato a impieghi gravosi come miniere, cantieri, ferrovie o uso industriale, dove affidabilità e robustezza erano fondamentali.

La lampada è realizzata interamente in metallo verniciato verde, con una struttura solida e compatta. È dotata di testa orientabile, maniglia superiore integrata e tracolla originale Mazda, elemento particolarmente ricercato e raro, che conferma l’autenticità dell’insieme. La tracolla reca chiaramente la scritta Mazda, come visibile in foto.

Il faro frontale presenta un ampio riflettore metallico con lente protettiva, progettato per garantire un fascio luminoso diretto e potente. L’alimentazione avviene tramite batteria da 6 volt, alloggiata nel corpo inferiore della lampada (batteria presente). Questa tipologia di alimentazione era tipica delle lampade professionali dell’epoca.

Sono presenti segni di usura, graffi, piccole abrasioni e tracce del tempo coerenti con l’età e l’uso professionale dell’oggetto. Tali segni non sono da considerarsi difetti, ma testimonianze autentiche della sua storia operativa e ne aumentano il fascino collezionistico.

Oggetto di grande interesse per collezionisti di illuminazione d’epoca, archeologia industriale e design tecnico, ma anche perfetto come elemento decorativo di forte carattere per ambienti industrial, loft o vintage.

Description – English

Rare vintage portable industrial lamp by Mazda, a renowned historic manufacturer specialized in professional and technical lighting during the 20th century. This type of lamp was designed for heavy-duty use in mines, construction sites, railways, and industrial environments, where durability and reliability were essential.

The lamp is entirely made of green painted metal, featuring a strong and compact construction. It is equipped with an adjustable head, integrated top handle, and the original Mazda shoulder strap, a highly desirable and uncommon feature that confirms the authenticity of the piece. The strap clearly bears the Mazda name, visible in the photographs.

The front spotlight includes a large metal reflector with protective lens, designed to provide powerful and focused illumination. Power is supplied by a 6-volt battery, housed in the lower body of the lamp (battery included). This power system is typical of professional portable lamps from the period.

Visible signs of wear, scratches, paint loss, and age-related patina are present, consistent with professional use and age. These marks should be considered part of the object’s history and contribute to its authentic industrial character and collectible appeal.
