Provenance

From a documented private collection belonging to a Norwegian priest and his wife, who lived and worked in Asia from the 1960s onward and actively collected art and cultural objects throughout their lives.
The family has strong historical ties to international missionary and cultural work, including China and East Asia, and assembled a large, long-term collection of art and ethnographic objects acquired on location.
