Beautiful pair of earthenware vases by P. Regout & Co. of Maastricht in Japonisme-inspired Asian motifs, dating from circa 1890–1910; each vase is 34 cm high, 19.4 cm in diameter, weighs about 1862 g, and bears a blind mark no. 17 on the base, with both in good condition showing light signs of use and age.

A beautiful pair of earthenware vases by P. Regout & Co. from Maastricht, crafted in the Japanese style (Japonisme) and produced in the period around 1890–1910.
The vases are richly decorated with Asian-inspired motifs and show the influence of Japonism, which around the turn of the century was very popular within the Dutch ceramic industry.
Both vases are marked with a blind mark No. 17 on the underside, attributed to P. Regout.
Condition: both vases are in good condition, without cracks or restorations.
Light signs of use and aging consistent with their age.
Dimensions per vase: height 34 cm, diameter 19.4 cm.
Weight: approx. 1862 grams per piece.
