Gilberto Francisetti was born in Turin on January 29, 1933. He initially studied with painters Cardarelli in Mantua and Agnese, and in 1981 he opened a studio in Turin on Via Buenos Aires. He participated in and won numerous competitions in Italy and abroad. In his delightful works, he depicts the Aosta Valley, Elba Island, Dutch canals, and Parisian scenes, as well as the waters of the Seine and Brittany.
