Description from the seller
Wine Enthusiast 94/100
CellarTracker 91/100
Falstaff 95/100
When to drink: 2020 to 2035
Vintage quality: Average
Current condition: Ready to drink, will keep
The 2014 vintage for Piedmont fell on the tricky side.
Critic tasting note: (2014 vintage) "Iris, new leather, aromatic herb and dark spice are just some of the aromas you'll find on this fragrant, focused red. The chiseled, elegantly structured palate is all about firm finesse, offering red cherry, cranberry, star anise, chopped mint and white pepper framed in taut refined tannins and vibrant acidity. Still youthfully austere, it's a classic Barolo reminiscent of times gone by, and will be even better in a few more years. Drink 2020–2029. Kerin O’Keefe" - Wine Enthusiast
This bottle comes from a private collection. It's impossible to guarantee that the wine is still perfectly preserved after so many years. Therefore, this bottle is sold "as seen and liked."
