Description from the seller
Vicente Sanchís guitar, from the workshop in Massanassa, Valencia, dates back to the time when they used round-shaped labels. It is a recognized brand with a rich history, and it is a very typical and renowned guitar maker in Spain.
This guitar is not the most common model that was manufactured; it is a higher-end model, as the template is larger, wider, and has slightly broader sides. Overall, it is a larger guitar than the typical Vicente Sanchís models, and it also features an ebony fretboard.
It has been restored by George M. Bowden in Palma de Mallorca (Spain). He repaired the head part and changed its color, orange in the front and violet on the body (sides and back). It is very beautiful, and you can tell that the luthier who repaired it is an expert.
The woods are:
German spruce pine harmonic tapa
Sides and back cover of mahogany, although I cannot specify the subtype of mahogany, are very unique and beautiful; they are certainly magnificent mahogany (see photos).
Ebony fingerboard
Cedar Mango
Measurements in mm
Total length 1000
Maximum width 360
Maximum depth 10
Tiro 660
Selleta 56
Cejuela 50
Height at fret 12; 4
Chair height 9
