Elegant jewelry box from the second half of the 19th century, Napoleon III, made of walnut burl or fine veneered wood with intricate marquetry.

The interior is lined with original red silk, featuring several functional compartments typical of vintage jewelry or sewing boxes.

Dimensions: 28 cm x 20.5 cm x 15 cm

State:

Good overall condition for its age, with normal wear and some signs of age.
Original interior fabric preserved with some signs of use and to be cleaned.
Small visible cracks at the corners and in the middle, with some marks to note.
Light lifting of the plating in some areas.
The lock is present but the key is missing.

This box was typically used to hold jewelry, sewing essentials, or personal effects, and reflects the refined aesthetic of Victorian English style.
