Description from the seller

A signed ceramic vase to be identified, dating from the 1850s. Magnificent and remarkable relief work depicting the goddess Ostara and the doe, an allegory of renewal. The symbolism represents a spring scene on a blue background with floral motifs, accentuated with gold in certain areas.
Work and Germanic artist.
Very beautiful piece, noted some minor damages but restored, possibly needing professional touch-up for this remarkable work of art, see chipping on the collar and hair inside.
Photos are an integral part of the description.
In good condition for a vase over 200 years old.
The goddess and the doe have a realization of finesse and details that take your breath away.

Starting at 1 euro without reserve price.
