Description from the seller

Signed / etched 'C. Comins'.

Born in Sydney, Australia, in 1954, Christopher Comins trained at Sydney University, then became an apprentice of Sam Hermann and later worked for Charlie Meaker and Neil Wilkin. Inspired by the memory of large landscapes, clear blue skies, and sunshine, Chris translates his visual memories into beautiful luminous free-blown glass vases and perfume bottles with signature dashes of color.

Represented at the Victoria and Albert Museum and twice awarded grants from the British Crafts Council, Comins is recognized as one of the leading makers in the art of glassmaking today.
