The Opera: TETRIS BLOCK
The concept of perfect fit is shattered by the force of the painterly gesture. While in the original game the goal is geometric order, on Harianna's canvas the 'blocks' of color seem to struggle for their own space in a dance of material overlaps.
The extreme use of the spatula creates deep reliefs that make the artwork a living organism: the shadows cast by the thicknesses of the acrylic react to ambient light, transforming the perception of the composition depending on the viewing angle. An experience that is not only visual but deeply tactile.
