Heidelandschaft mit Birken, an original oil painting from 1950–1960 in Expressionism, oil on canvas, country of origin unknown, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
This hand-painted oil painting depicts a atmospheric landscape with a path leading the eye into the depth. Tall trees frame the scene, creating a calm, harmonious atmosphere. The impasto application of color and the vivid brushwork give the piece a natural liveliness and depth.
The painting is executed in oil on canvas and stylistically dates from the 20th century, presumably between 1950 and 1970. It is an original, hand-painted work, not a print or reproduction. In the lower right corner, there is a signature, but it is not clearly legible, so the artist cannot be identified with certainty.
The picture is framed in a period-appropriate, high-quality wooden frame with a gold-colored inner edge, which harmonizes very well with the motif and effectively presents the artwork. The frame is probably original to the painting.
The condition of the painting is good and age-appropriate. The canvas is stable, without cracks or major damage. There are only slight, age-related signs of use and a natural patina. The back is original, not re-stretched, with visible wooden stretcher and wire hanging system.
A decorative original painting, ideal as atmospheric wall art for living rooms, hallways, or offices.
