AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Exceptional metallic reflection ceramic plate produced in the Triana kilns during the 16th century, one of the most important centers of Hispano-Renaissance ceramics.
The piece features a radial composition organized in concentric bands, decorated with scroll motifs and curvilinear designs executed in metallic oxide over a glazed cover, creating the characteristic iridescent shine that defines this technique.
The metallic reflection, a direct heir of the Andalusian tradition and masterfully developed in the Iberian Peninsula, achieved in Seville a language of its own, combining Mudéjar schemes with a formal arrangement already fully Renaissance.

A representative piece, probably intended for a prestigious domestic setting or an ornamental function, testimony to the high level of technical and aesthetic achievement reached by the Trianero workshops in the 16th century.
Such pieces are found in museums and the best collections. Photographs are attached.

Good overall condition, all original, period recomposition visible in photographs.
