Art Nouveau silver necklace with pendant with turquoise – signed – ca. 1900–1915
Unique Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) silver pendant featuring a finely crafted young female profile, executed in flowing, organic lines characteristic of the style around the turn of the century. The pendant is richly detailed and set with multiple turquoise stones, subtly integrated into the design.
The composition depicts a woman with flowing hair, surrounded by graceful, asymmetrical shapes reminiscent of natural motifs such as leaves and shells. This type of figurative representation — the woman as a symbol of nature, beauty, and idealism — is characteristic of the Art Nouveau period.
