Note: The CD 87 model (without the "R") had a 19-inch rack-mountable front panel (W = 483 mm) equipped with two handles (3 cm thicker in depth) to match the appearance of the Alpha series of amplifiers and preamplifiers. This unit was manufactured in Japan by Sankyo (under license from Teac) and is similar to the Teac A-380 and the Sankyo STD-2000.
