Description from the seller
DOMENICO SELO – SELOSKI (1924–1981)
Unique high-quality work, oil on panel.
With certificate of art gallery
Maestro Seloski's signature on the back.
Domenico Selo – Seloski (1924-1981), a painter of the highest technical skill and particular artistic sensitivity, with a unique and recognizable color signature, highly sought after and appreciated for his application of colors of exceptional intensity and expressive strength, with deep and enveloping tones. He exhibited in many Italian and European cities, including Paris. In Livorno, he started and managed his gallery, visited by far-sighted art lovers. He received high praise in every context.
Magnificent, refined, and precious painting, this work is full of pathos and elegance, at times textural, with exquisite technique that characterized Maestro Seloski.
A visually striking painting that no discerning collector would want to miss, signed at the bottom right, with a certificate of authenticity and the artist's signature on the back.
The picture measures 35 x 50 cm and is made on a 4 mm Masonite panel. It is in good condition with minimal signs of aging consistent with the age of the work.
The intense and deep colors, particularly fascinating, are almost identical to reality but may differ only slightly in person as they depend on the display settings of your device and any light reflections.
Photographs are an integral part of the description and understanding of the lot.
Guarantees accurate multi-layered and reinforced packaging, absolutely professional, and tracked fast shipping.
For packaging, I use the best products available on the market to ensure a highly resistant package that safeguards the artwork, and I rely on selected carriers for quick and optimal delivery. The costs of these materials are continuously increasing, and shipping fees depend on these costs as well as the weight, dimensions of the artwork, and delivery speed.
Shipments are not made to Campione d'Italia and Livigno. Shipments to non-EU countries will inevitably be a bit slower to allow for the necessary certification for this type of shipment.
Shipments to Corsica will incur an additional charge of 8 euros due to significantly higher rates charged by couriers.
