Since childhood, Claudine has loved to draw and paint animals and nature.
Claudine Suret-Canale left for Africa at the age of 9 with her parents—her father, a historian and geographer, and her mother, a journalist.
From 1960 to 1965.
She is fascinated to discover the African wildlife and flora.
Upon returning to France, she began attending the Académie Charpentier in Paris, a preparatory school for the grandes écoles of arts. She is 16 years old.
