The memoir essay by A.I. Tsvetaeva "Marinin's House" is the only surviving eyewitness account of how Marina Tsvetaeva searched for and eventually found a house in Moscow where she settled with her family - her husband Sergei Efron and daughter Alya. The value of the essay is in the abundance of facts, in the vivid details of the past, in the precise and detailed description of her apartment in Borisoglebsk.
