Description from the seller

Cobalt blue glass vase in Bohemian crystal style.
Description: cobalt blue crystal, top crown made of gold-plated brass, base with three legs made of gold-plated brass.
Period: Early 20th century.
Origin: European, possibly French.
Art Nouveau style, with decorative influence from the Sèvres porcelain manufactories, evokes symbolism and royalty through 'the crown of the Sèvres style.' On the other hand, it features floral motifs on the body of the vase, typical of French Art Nouveau. The cobalt blue, translucent color associated with Central Europe, specifically the Czech Republic, Bohemian crystal, and popular fashion at the end of the 19th century, is also present. From this, we understand that this small vase draws from various influences and styles from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Craftsmanship: It features a complex process involving several artisans—one master glassblower skilled in creating Bohemia crystals, another master artisan responsible for making the fittings, and a third master artisan who paints the glass with floral enamel designs.
Dimensions: 18cm in height x 8cm x 8cm.
