Description from the seller
Original Spanish Movie Poster – Las cicatrices (1967)
Offset lithograph on paper
Original Spanish theatrical poster for Las cicatrices, directed by Pedro Lazaga and released in 1967.
Printed in Spain using offset lithography.
The poster presents a striking multi-panel illustrated composition, combining psychological portraiture with dramatic narrative scenes. The visual language—fragmented imagery, expressive faces, and a restrained yet powerful color palette—is characteristic of the Spanish illustrated cinema poster tradition of the 1960s, and is strongly reminiscent of the style associated with Francisco Fernández-Zarza (Jano).
For accuracy, the poster is offered as unattributed, rather than making a direct authorship claim.
Good vintage condition overall.
Fold lines as issued. Minor wear consistent with age and handling. No restorations.
A framed interior mock-up image is included for scale and visualization purposes only. The artwork is sold unframed.
A strong and highly decorative example of 1960s Spanish film poster design, ideal for collectors of European cinema, graphic design, and illustrated posters.
