Description from the seller
Charming set of two mold-press glass vases in the Art Deco style, with elegant shapes and delicate colors.
The first, in salmon pink glass, features a flared body with molded relief decoration of scales or festoons, a slightly festooned mouth, and a polygonal foot. It is signed in relief on the base with 'Val St Lambert Belgique,' typical of the Luxval line from the 1930s.
The second, in pale violet lilac glass, features a slender tulip-shaped body on a faceted octagonal foot, with a flared, scalloped rim. No visible marks.
These vases, with harmonious proportions, superbly capture the light and evoke the elegance of Belgian and European productions from the interwar period.
