Description from the seller

Beautiful set of six large Herend Apponyi dessert plates

6 pieces total

Every single piece is in absolutely perfect condition—unused, with no damage, no wear, no repairs. The gilding is flawless, bright, and complete. You will not be disappointed with their condition.
All plates are fully marked and guaranteed original Herend porcelain.

About the Apponyi Pattern

The Apponyi pattern is one of Herend’s most iconic designs. It originates from the famous “Indian Basket” motif that became popular in the 18th–19th centuries. Count Albert Apponyi, a member of a prominent Hungarian aristocratic family, requested a simplified and more elegant version of the Indian Basket design around 1930.
The result was the Apponyi pattern, characterized by its central stylized flower motif and rich hand-painted detailing with luxurious gold accents. To this day, it remains one of Herend’s most beloved and collectible patterns.
