French Art Deco Panther sculpture by M. Font, circa 1930, in Régule and Marble with a black patina, 50 cm high, 10 cm wide, 18 cm deep, 3.5 kg, unsigned and in excellent condition, with a granite base replaced for balance.

Artistic metal panther – French Art Deco sculpture, circa 1930
Stunning animal sculpture depicting a walking panther, crafted in metal art by a French sculptor in the 1930s, an iconic period of Art Deco aesthetics.
The work is distinguished by the elegance of its lines, mastery of volumes, and the subtle tension of movement. The elongated, perfectly balanced silhouette accurately reflects the silent power and feline grace characteristic of the great animal sculptures of that era.
The deep black patina gives the whole a remarkable presence and highlights the work of modeling.
The sculpture rests on a polished black granite plinth, simple and refined, which highlights the nobility of the piece.
Note: the original base, signed by M. Font, was accidentally damaged and has been replaced with a new granite base, unsigned, made in accordance with the aesthetics and balance of the work.
