Description from the seller

Kutani ware Tea Bowl (Chawan) – Camellia Design – Bizan Kiln – Tomobako

This is an authentic Kutani ware tea bowl (Chawan) produced by Bizan Kiln (美山窯), featuring an elegant camellia (Tsubaki) motif.
The softly painted green leaves and flower harmonize beautifully with the warm, earthy glaze texture, giving the piece a calm and refined presence.

The bowl is offered as a single piece and is in excellent, very clean condition, with no visible cracks, chips, or repairs.
It comes with its original wooden storage box (Tomobako), inscribed with “椿茶碗 (Camellia Tea Bowl),” which confirms the motif and enhances authenticity and collector value.

This piece is suitable for tea ceremony use as well as for display, and represents the traditional craftsmanship and aesthetic sensitivity of Japanese Kutani ware.
