A sterling silver (.925) serving spoon dating to 1820, London hallmarked with TB and DCR marks, measuring 23 cm long, 5 cm wide, 1.5 cm deep, and weighing 80 g, in excellent condition with minimal wear and a partially gilt embossed bowl.
Description from the seller
Superior quality crafted early 19th sterling 925 silver serving spoon, finely hand engraved with naturalistic scrolls. The partial gilt bowl embossed with fruits
Fully hallmarked London Assay Office guarantee with "e" date letters for 1820, together with silversmith's mark "TB".
Also later "DCR" silversmith's mark. This mark is not shown in Grimwade or Culme so is assumed to be unregistered. It is probably the mark of David Crichton Rait of Glasgow.

In clean fine 206 years old original condition, minor wear to gilding - great patina, minor scratches - no dings, no bumps, no cracks, no repairs, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description (wine bottle not included)
