Description from the seller
Elegant 95 x 64 cm poster from the 1980s depicting the famous subject Princesse Hyacinthe, inspired by the original work of Alphonse Mucha, one of the foremost exponents of European Art Nouveau.
Note: the first edition of this manifesto was published in 1911. This is a later edition from the 1980s.
The poster depicts a regal female figure, seated in a contemplative pose, framed by refined ornamental motifs, stars, and symbolism typical of the late nineteenth-century Art Nouveau style.
The composition is enriched by a refined color palette with cream, green, purple, and gold tones, which effectively convey the decorative aesthetics of the era.
This 1980s edition was created as a decorative homage, intended for furnishing and collecting, and is not an original vintage print. The graphic quality and the rendering of details nevertheless make it highly appreciated for elegant interiors, studios, galleries, or Art Nouveau poster collections.
