Spain – Bank of Spain – 1,000 pesetas (July 15, 1907)
One of the most iconic and visually impressive Spanish banknotes of the early 20th century, printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. (London), renowned for the extraordinary quality of its engravings.
The obverse features a magnificent allegorical composition, while the reverse shows a detailed view of the Royal Palace of Madrid, framed by elaborate motifs of multicolored guilloché.
Certified by PMG with a grade of 45 – Choice Extremely Fine, it retains its original paper, vibrant colors, and a high level of detail. The specimen maintains its embossed dry seal, a key element of authenticity and quality in this issue.
Shows slight oxidation, as indicated by PMG. Overall, it is a very attractive and well-preserved specimen of this classic high-denomination Spanish banknote.
