Svensson’s Möja, a hand-signed lithograph in Realism, colourful and dating from 1950–1960, edition 247/300, 48 × 64 cm framed, in excellent condition, depicting a day scene and produced in Sweden.

Roland Svensson (1910-2003) was a Swedish artist and writer, known for his images of the Stockholm archipelago. He studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts and worked in painting, lithography, and illustration, often capturing coastal life with bold, impressionistic brushstrokes. Svensson illustrated books by Sven Barthel and authored works such as "Lonely Islands and Archipelago Life in Times Gone By." His travels to remote islands like the Hebrides and Spitsbergen inspired much of his art. In 1978, he received an honorary doctorate. His works are housed in major Swedish museums, and his legacy lives on in a museum on Möja.
