AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox

This is the first Memovox model from 1951/1952. In this version, the strap lugs are designed as larger tubes, so that the case does not lie directly on them and the resonance of the alarm is not affected.

Case: stainless steel with two crowns (winding/time-setting crown + alarm-winding/setting the alarm time)

Movement: Jaeger-LeCoultre manual-wind movement Cal. P 489 (the first "Wrist-Alarm" alarm-clock movement from Jaeger LeCoultre). The alarm hammer strikes a protuberance on the base plate and produces the distinctive buzzing sound.

The watch is in good, collectible condition—see photos.
The plant is running, the alarm is functioning.
