Inkwell - with clock, Marble

Old Art Deco inkstand, featuring a central clock, made of veined marble, with a chrome metal frame, resting on a matching base with decorative feet.

The inkwell consists of two ink reservoirs (without cups) with hinged covers, a central mechanical clock with manual winding. Included with the sale is a marble stamp.

A typical decorative ensemble of Art Deco offices, appreciated for its geometric aesthetic and the beauty of marble.
Despite the reported flaws, the object retains a strong decorative presence.

Year 1920/1930 (Art Deco period).

Visible shocks as well as an old repaired crack, normal age-related wear, the clock is functioning, and there is no chime present.
