AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The set is in good antique condition overall, with wear consistent with age and careful use.

Noted damage / losses:

The original comb is missing.
However, the set still includes both original silver holders for the comb, which remain present in the case. This indicates the loss is limited to the comb itself rather than the fittings.

Chipping to the enamel is present on two of the brushes, as visible in the photographs.
The chipping is localised and does not affect the structural integrity or usability of the brushes, but is consistent with age-related wear to guilloché enamel.

Additional condition notes:

Light surface wear and patina to the silver-plated metal consistent with age

Natural aging and slight discoloration to the satin/silk interior of the case

Brush bristles appear original and intact

Mirror glass is in good condition with no significant damage

Restorations / alterations:

No restorations, repairs, or alterations are known or evident.

All components appear original to the set.
