Statue africaine Mambila en bois monoxyle d'un personnage asexué. Les territoires situés au nord du Cameroun sont très étendus et abritent les populations des Mambila. Les vingt-cinq mille Mambila ont créé un grand nombre de masques et de statues reconnaissable à leur visage en forme de cœur et à des applications de pigments rouges et blancs. 

Les statues Mambila de type tadep comme celle-ci sont censées personnifier les ancêtres qui, selon les croyances des Mambila, sont responsable de la prospérité de la tribu.
