Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2000, 1984, blue, 1962 cc petrol engine, 120 HP, manual transmission, Austrian registration, 143,356 km.
Description from the seller
HIGHLIGHTS
The ultimate design of an Italian car, Alfa Romeo at its best! With the authentic sound of the GTV engine.
Furthermore the car sits perfectly on the road due to its even weight distribution (engine in front, gearbox at the back). Every cornering, every Alpine pass a pure pleasure. And the car, even if it spent a winter in the garage: connect the battery, pull the choke, start and off you go! Never had a problem. A dream
Year of construction 1984
6 previous owners according to the type certificate verifiable
EXTERIOR
Nice paint, some small rust spots. Seal on the windows not in perfect condition. But 100% watertight.
Tank has a small rust spot. While driving no problem. When left for longer periods: half-full no problem, fully fueled slightly leaking
INTERIOR
Padding, upholstery nice and appealing. Leatherette here or there slightly damaged. Anyone reasonably skilled can easily bring it back to good condition. (Wear due to age, heat...)
Headliner in the rear loose, also easy to reattach.
Back seats belts to be installed
MECHANICS
Flawless. The shift as with all GTVs: engage first gear slowly, otherwise the gearbox grinds
Drives perfectly, has over the years been effortlessly happy. No mechanical problems, from time to time old-timer oil top-up (AGIP Novecento)
PAPERS
Type certificate, registration certificate present.
This Alfetta GTV has always been garaged and in Alfa classic-car workshops checked and repaired (Alfa Ambros, Pabneukirchen, Upper Austria). It has normal registration, not historic/oldtimer registration.
Engine and mechanics are in working condition, the inspection sticker was recently renewed (25.6.2025).
Body shows age-related condition, however without dents, minimal rust spots are detectable.
To avoid disappointment later, it is recommended to view the vehicle in Vienna, Austria before bidding. For an appointment please contact Catawiki.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
