Datering & stijlbepaling
Deze houten paraplubak is te dateren rond ca. 1890–1910 (laat-Victoriaans tot Edwardiaans).
Kenmerkend zijn:
het massieve eikenhout.
de gesneden decoratieve panelen met getrapte boogvormen,
de geribde en geprofileerde randen, typisch voor Engels interieurmeubilair rond de eeuwwisseling,
de solide, functionele constructie bedoeld voor de hal of vestibule van een landhuis.
Dit type meubel werd geplaatst in de entree om paraplu’s netjes te laten uitlekken, vaak gecombineerd met kapstok of hoedenrek.

Antieke Engelse paraplubak – ca. 1900 – klassieke landhuisstijl
Een bijzonder sfeervolle antieke paraplubak in authentieke Engelse landhuisstijl, vervaardigd rond 1900. Dit karaktervolle halmeubel ademt de ingetogen elegantie van een Victoriaanse of Edwardiaanse entree.
Het meubel is uitgevoerd in massief hout met fraaie handgesneden details, waaronder decoratieve boogvormige uitsparingen en verfijnd geprofileerde randen. De warme, doorleefde patina onderstreept het authentieke karakter en getuigt van meer dan een eeuw gebruik en geschiedenis.
Niet alleen functioneel, maar vooral een stijlvol statement in de hal, veranda of wintertuin. Perfect te combineren met een klassieke kapstok of een Engels gangtapijt.
