Description from the seller
Elegant set of antique perfume bottles on a silver metal stand.
An exquisite vanity set consisting of two perfume bottles made of transparent crystal glass and a case (support) ornamented in silver-plated metal, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.
Main Features
Style: The stand features a detailed figurative design that evokes the aesthetics of the Art Nouveau or Neoclassical movement, with reliefs depicting a female figure and a child figure.
Composition: The set includes two identical glass bottles, rectangular in shape with smooth faces, that fit perfectly into the central stand. The caps are metal.
Condition: The condition of the set is good, though minor signs of wear, patina, or oxidation on the metal are expected due to age.
Use and Provenance
These sets were luxury pieces used on ladies' dressing tables during the Victorian and Belle Époque periods, intended to hold fine perfumes or scented salts. They are highly collectible items, valued both for their original functionality and for their aesthetic and historical significance.
