Glazed ceramic sculpture depicting a dancing folk couple in traditional Central European costume. The sculpture is attributed to Jan Kutálek, based on identical documented examples known from reference collections and online auction records. The dynamic composition, expressive modelling and vivid polychrome glaze are characteristic of Kutálek’s folkloric ceramic works from the mid 20th century. The sculpture dates to circa 1930–1950. Condition is good, with minor surface abrasion to the glaze on the arm of the male figure, consistent with age and handling. No cracks, no restorations, no repairs. A highly decorative and collectible example of Central European folk ceramic sculpture, well suited for both collectors and interior display.
