Zhu Chen

Zeer decoratieve set van twee antieke petroleumlampen met rijk handbeschilderde bloemendecoratie, aangeboden als één lot. Beide lampen dateren uit het einde van de 19e / begin 20e eeuw en zijn voorzien van een originele Franse brander gemerkt “Breveté L&B”, wat de authenticiteit en verzamelwaarde verhoogt.
De lampen zijn uitgevoerd in kwalitatief glas, één in groen opaline/melkglas met florale beschildering en één in gesatineerd (frosted) glas met meerkleurige bloemen en verfijnde details. De decoraties zijn met de hand aangebracht en tonen het typische vakmanschap van de Belle Époque-periode.
De messing branders dragen het merkteken “Breveté L&B” (Frans patentmerk), gebruikt door betere Franse en Belgische lampenmakers rond 1900–1915.
