The reels were recorded after vinyl records
Weight 6kg
18 cm (≈ 7″) diameter reel, a very common format in domestic and semi-professional audio recorders

Designed for recording speeds such as 19 cm/s (7½ ips) for high quality, or 4.75 cm/s (1⅞ ips) for longer duration
These tapes were often sold pre-recorded with musical content or blank for personal use, and today you’ll mainly find them from collectors or at vintage material auctions
General useful features

Length and quality: Standard LP18 versions can have up to about 550 m of tape on a 7″ reel, enough to record many tens of minutes per side at standard speed.
