Saint-Simon and Pierre Brissaud’s Mémoires, a five-volume illustrated edition published by Librairie Hachette in 1949 in French, with soft covers, 1694 pages total and inserted plates, including one of 25 numbered copies on Arches paper with a black suite for each volume; Tome I is in fair condition with a split spine and worm galleries, while the remaining volumes are generally good and complete.

204 beautiful illustrations by Pierre Brissaud (1885-1964) within the text and outside of it.
One of the 25 numbered copies on pure Arches paper, with a black ribbon for each volume.
First volume in fair condition. Faded tear at the top left of the front cover and worm galleries at the end of the volume that have pierced the back cover, with the rest in black and, for one, about forty pages at the end.
Good overall condition for the other volumes, well complete with their series. No gallery of worm.
