Description from the seller
Beautiful Blake Kuwahara MILLS Herringbone frame, a high-quality designer glasses, with an original pattern and details, including case and box.
Blake Kuwahara’s frames, including the MILLS, are known for their striking 'frame-in-frame' designs, meticulous craftsmanship, and high-quality Japanese manufacturing techniques.
Description on the glasses: MILLS HERRINGBONE 49025 140
No signs of use on the glasses and the box.
Usage marks on the case because it was used for a different Blake glasses.
This model is made of acetate (cellulose acetate).
Main structure of the glasses frame, made from high-quality, plant-based cellulose acetate.
Feels warmer and softer than cheap plastic, is hypoallergenic, and allows deep colors and patterns (such as the 'Herringbone' pattern).
Frame-in-frame laminate: a second acetate frame is, so to speak, cast into the outer frame, creating the characteristic 3D look.
This requires manual cutting, polishing, and pressing of multiple layers of acetate.
Herringbone pattern: no paint layer, but an embedded pattern in the acetate itself.
This is pressed into the material during production, preventing it from fading.
