Magnificent little boy brooch with skateboard, vintage and rare, created by the famous French designer Léa Stein in Bakelite. Brooch signed 'LEA STEIN PARIS'. The brooch is in very good condition despite the years (1968-1980). This series was already very expensive in the years 68/80 (Information about this brooch can be found in the catalogue of the LEA STEIN BOOK CASALMAGGIORE EXHIBITION CATALOG LORENA TADDEI).
On the pin, over time, a small detail has been lost — a skateboard wheel. Please look at the photos.
All Léa Stein items are still largely handmade. No two are exactly alike. The pins are attached using a thermal process. This can sometimes leave strange marks or scratches on the back or around the pin area. This is completely normal and not a defect.
