Ceramic dessert plate / breakfast plate – set of 6
Gien, Series The Gastronomics of Health – Enchanted Orchard

Description
A lot of six ceramic plates from the renowned French manufacturer Gien, series "Les Gastronomiques de la Santé – Verger enchanté".
The plates are decorated with finely executed fruit motifs (including cherries, plums, grapes, apricots, apples, strawberries). Around the illustrations run French texts that relate to the gastronomic and health significance of the respective fruits.
The pennants are done in relief, and the glaze shows a warm cream color. Each plate is marked on the underside with the Gien stamp ‘France’ as well as the serial designation.

No cracks or spalling observed.
There is light craquelure in the glaze, due to age and manufacturing, common in faience from Gien.
